Allopurinol
Indications/Uses
Gout, hyperuricemia & uric acid lithiasis. Treatment of Ca oxalate/phosphate renal stones in the presence of hyperuricemia &/or hyperuricosuria.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Adult Mild conditions 2-10 mg/kg daily or 100-200 mg daily. Moderately severe 300-600 mg daily. Severe 700-900 mg daily. Childn <15 yr 10-20 mg/kg daily or 100-400 mg daily
