Dexamethasone
Indications/Uses
Primary or secondary adrenocortical insufficiency; endocrine, rheumatic, collagen, dermatologic, ophth, resp, hematologic, neoplastic & GI diseases, allergic & edematous states.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Tab Initially 0.75-9 mg daily depending on disease being treated. Less severe disease <0.75 mg daily. Severe disease >9 mg daily. Elixir 5-90 mL daily in divided doses.
